Kamouraska Concert classical guitar with TKL case in Caribou, Maine

$300

Kamouraska Concert classical guitar, made in Canada. This pre-dates the La Patrie line of classical guitars made by Godin. I don't know what year this guitar is but they made the name change to La Patrie in 1982 I think. This is in overall very good condition with a few flaws. It has a 1-15/16" nut and 26" scale. It weighs 3 lbs, 8.8 oz. The nut looks like plastic while the saddle is bone. The action is "normal" for a classical and the saddle can be dropped lower if you like. It has an adjustable truss rod that works. The top is solid and likely cedar. The sides and back appear to be mahogany and I would assume they are laminated. The guitar looks like it was well cared for. There is a tiny intermittent gap under the bridge. It has not moved since I owned it and the previous owner said it didn't move in the 12 years he owned it, so I wouldn't worry. There is also a little bit of rippling in the top, which I tried to capture in a photo. It's all stable but I figured I should point it out. The guitar has a good tone. I don't know what it has for strings, as I don't play classical much and never bothered to change these. The guitar comes with a nearly new TKL hard case (with key) that is a superb fit. No slopping around here! I have priced this at $299 or a decent offer. It is sold as is.
